Profile

Christy specialises in project conveyancing of residential and non-residential properties under Consent and Non-Consent Schemes (including drafting of Deed of Mutual Covenant, sale and purchase agreements, mortgage, assignment and tender documents, and liaising with different Government departments for obtaining pre-sale consent and approvals during and after construction stage). She frequently advises major property developers on compliance with the Residential Properties (First-hand Sales) Ordinance. Since 2018, she has been involved as the main handling solicitor in over 12 residential cum commercial sales projects. Some of the notable projects that she handled include: Baker Circle One in Hung Hom (reportedly the largest scale redevelopment project in the past 30 years), the Square Mile series in Mong Kok (Cetus · Square Mile, Aquila · Square Mile, and The Quinn · Square Mile), Arbour in Tsim Sha Tsui, The Richmond in Mid-Levels, Caine Hill in Sheung Wan, Novum East in Quarry Bay, etc.

In addition to her project conveyancing experience, Christy also has extensive experience in advising developers, statutory bodies, state-owned PRC enterprises, HK listed companies, charitable institutions and high-net-worth private clients on land acquisition and disposal (including but not limited to by way of real estate M&A), government grants provisions, project commercial/industrial bare site and en-bloc leasing (some of the notable leasing projects that she handled include: H Queen’s in Central, H Code in Central, AIA Tower in North Point, K Plus in Yuen Long, etc.), and property related litigious matters. Since 2022, she has been providing legal consultancy services to a HK statutory body on a wide range of real estate related matters, in particular those concerning the three Industrial Estates in Hong Kong.
