Profile

Jaycen Liao is a senior partner of the capital market department of Zhong Lun. He has been admitted to practice in Hong Kong, England & Wales and the PRC and it has been nearly 20 years since he began practising. His practice focuses on Hong Kong capital markets matters such as IPOs, bond offerings, take-overs, privatization and listed companies’ general compliance. Jaycen also advises clients on cross-border M&As and private equity investments.

Jaycen has represented many issuers and sponsors of various types of securities offering and other corporate finance transactions, including Cloudy Factory (stock code:2512), Mobvoi Inc. The client base of Cloud Factory includes top-notch Internet companies, cloud computing service providers, and blue-chip listed companies in the PRC.
  • Advised Mobvoi Inc. (stock code: 2438), a generative AI and voice interaction technology company, on its US$35 million Hong Kong IPO jointly sponsored by China International Capital Corporation Hong Kong Securities Limited (CICC) and CMB International Capital Limited (CMBI), which was the first AI-generated content (AIGC) company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
