In particular, she represented the Plaintiff in winning a Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal case involving cross-border contractual disputes of RMB hundreds of million, claiming the Defendants for breach of implied promise to perform an arbitral award under CIETAC. The complexity of the legal issues involved can be displayed by the ad hoc admission of Queen’s Counsel engaged by the Plaintiff for the proceedings. She also acted for various former executive directors of listed companies in various cases in resisting the SFC’s action for alleged breach of director’s duties, and acted for a renowned PRC company in Hong Kong arbitration proceedings involving share purchase disputes of over RMB hundreds of million.
