Ms. Dorothy Siron, litigation and dispute resolution partner of Zhong Lun Law Firm will be attending the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) Law Symposium in San Diego, California on November 3, 2016, and she is invited to be the moderator for the panel discussion, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow: Finding the Cure for Oscars-So-White Color-Blindness”. At the Panel Discussion, the issue of the lack of diverse representation in Hollywood is a massive barrier to the projection of a better tomorrow for a generation of Americans and a lost opportunity for the U.S. to take a lead as a model global force for equality will be discussed. In addition to the Panel Discussions, one of the highlighted events of the Symposium will be the Keynote Presentation of Mr. Willie Ito, former animator and director of International Creative, Walt Disney Company where he will share his memories from living in the U.S. Internment Camp during the World War II to becoming an animator. The National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) is the national association of Asian Pacific American attorneys, judges, law professors, and law students. NAPABA engages in legislative and policy advocacy, promotes Asian Pacific American political leadership and political appointments, and builds coalitions within the legal profession and the community at large.
